Noisebud News Noisebud, 2026, May 7 Patreon keeps changing how posts, notifications, and emails behave, and I know that posts about new plugins and updates do not always reach everyone. So the idea with Noisebud News is simple: a regular update post that can hopefully be sent to all Patrons, with links to new plugins, updates, videos, and other things I am working on. I’ll try to post these once a week, or as often as I can. I also want to say that there are quite a few updates and new plugins in the pipeline right now. So if you have been wondering whether new Noisebud stuff is coming, the answer is yes. There are both plugin updates and new releases on the way. And thanks for all the comments, ideas, and requests. I read them, and several of the things people have asked for are already being worked on. Not everything can happen at once, but a lot of it will show up in future updates and releases. For everyone: First out: the Norbergfestival 2026 Remix Competition. I’m sponsoring the competition again this year through Saintpid Mastering, as I have done for several years now, and Noisebud is also part of the prize pool this year. The track for the competition is “DO” by SHXCXCHCXSH. Yes, that artist name is not made for casual spelling, but the music is exactly the kind of thing that makes sense in the Norbergfestival world. You can technically take the remix in any direction, but it is worth knowing the context: SHXCXCHCXSH is a techno act, and Norbergfestival is centered around electronic music, from club music to more experimental electronic art music. So while there are no hard rules about style, it’s probably good to know this. The jury listens to loudness-normalized versions, so there is no point in trying to win a loudness war. Make something interesting, personal, and well balanced instead. It would be great to see a few Noisebud Patrons take part this year. You can read more about the competition, download the stems, and submit your remix here: https://norbergfestival.com/remix Higher Paying Tiers News Dropzone for Dropbox The main change is that every uploaded track now gets its own small ID. This makes it much easier to connect an uploaded file to the person who sent it. The person uploading can now also enter an email address and write a short message. So if you use Dropzone for Dropbox to receive files for mixing, mastering, or similar work, it is now easier to keep track of which file belongs to which client, and you also have a direct email address if you need to get back to them. I have also made a few small visual changes. The dropzone area looks a little cleaner now, with rounded corners and some general polish. Apart from that, it works the same way as before. You’ll find Dropzone for Dropbox here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/139717811 Saintpid Manager I have also updated Saintpid Manager, my WordPress plugin for delivering files to clients and handling payment links. Saintpid Manager is built for mastering, mixing, and similar client work. You can upload finished files to a client page, send the client an automatic email with the link and password, and let them download the files or listen to them lossless directly on the page. The main update is that you can now add a custom message to the automatic emails. This works when you send an email about new files, when you send a payment email, and when you send an email that includes both new files and payment information. So if you need to explain something specific about the delivery, the payment, revisions, or the project itself, you can now add that directly before sending. I have also made it easier to describe which project the files belong to. If you use a project header inside Saintpid Manager, that header can now be used in the email, so the client gets a clearer message about which project the delivery refers to. The payment link system has also been changed. Instead of sending a payment email immediately when you add a payment link, it is now added to a small payment log first. If the payment email has not been sent yet, the row will show a Send button. You add the payment to the log first, and then press Send when you actually want the email to go out. This is useful if you prepare an invoice or payment link while finishing a project, but do not want to send it until the client has listened and approved the masters. Sometimes you want payment up front, and then you can send it right away. Other times, especially with regular clients, it makes more sense to wait. After the payment email has been sent, the row gets a Remind button, so you can send a reminder if the payment does not come in. When you mark the payment as paid, the reminder button disappears and the row turns green. It is a small workflow update, but for real client work it makes Saintpid Manager a lot more practical. How to package music the brilliant way 2012, June 9 Dadahack sure knows how to package their music, on top of that the music is brilliant but just the way they distribute their album make it worth the buy.
