Solid v1.10 – Starting point tutorial Noisebud, 2026, April 18 This update came directly out of the feedback and discussions I’ve had with you since SOLID v1.00 was released for all Patrons. I already knew that a lot of you work professionally with mastering, but I did not realize how many. And it has honestly meant a lot to see how many of you are working in studios with monitoring systems and rooms that make it possible to hear exactly what SOLID is doing. So, first of all, thank you. A lot of what is in this update comes directly from that feedback. The default settings have been adjusted to give a more natural starting point when dialing in SOLID. The idea is to get you closer to that “just right” low-end foundation right away, with less need for initial tweaking. There’s also a new small addition tied to the Threshold control. An auto-level button has been added to the function that makes SOLID go into bypass whenever the signal falls below the threshold. This makes it easier to dial in a working threshold. The demo is attached below.
