Terrorists in the EU

A friend posted a brief extract from Europols terrorist act statistics during 2006-2009 on Facebook.  It got us started so we read the whole darn report and it’s really interesting reading. Our conclusion is that we in the west world are most afraid of separatists and Islamic extremists but the biggest threat is really the right wing extremists. About 90% of all terrorist acts where performed by right wing extremists but a quick look at the arrests statistics show that about 90% of the arrests where connected to separatists and Islamic extremists. It’s no big news but our media really need to set their priorities right, don’t they?
