Electronic music festivals in Sweden

Tomorrow it’s time for  the 3day long Arvikafestivalen.
Amongst others technoacts like Ellen Allien + Pfadfinderei , the industrial legends Nitzer Ebb and pure clubmusic acts like Boy8Bit , Robyn and Lanizer & Lemethy . If you’re into Joy Division  Agent Sidegrinder might be something for you but if you by any chance love spacepop S.P.O.C.K may be worth checking out. To cool things down diskJokke might help you out with mellow ambient stuff.

Beetween 29-31July you should really visit Norbergfestivalen that’s been the most interesting 100% experimental electronic music festival. The last few years it’s really started to grow and there are dance acts as well. EMS has their usual showcase .  Camp303 does their thing and this year it seems you can go play with some analog synths if you’re into that or never tried before but always wondered what the fuzz is about.
Then some dubstep Bar9. If you’re into Broken Note , you’ll like this guy as well. For some good ol’ techno  Dungeon Acid will serve it to you. Mark Ernestus feat Tikiman (Rhythm & Sound) represents the true dubby side of reggae.  Don’t miss Rotator (breakcore), the 2nd time around in Sweden now!
