Creem and PayPal Purchases in the Noisebud Store are processed by Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ), which acts as Merchant of Record. Creem receives and processes payment, billing and tax information as an independent data controller under its own Privacy Notice. Earlier direct purchases were processed by PayPal, which processes payment information according to its own privacy terms. Noisebud receives only the information made available to us that is needed to identify, record and administer the purchase, license, refund or related transaction. 6. Patreon If you use Patreon-based Noisebud access, information necessary to verify your membership or entitlement may be obtained from or exchanged with Patreon. Patreon processes information under its own privacy terms for its platform and payment services. 7. Newsletter Newsletter subscription is optional. We use the email address you provide for the purpose of sending Noisebud news and related communications. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe function provided with the newsletter or on the website. Withdrawing newsletter consent does not affect your My Noisebud account, purchases or software licenses. 8. Who We Share Data With We do not sell personal data. Personal data may be made available to service providers where necessary to operate Noisebud, including: Creem for payment processing, invoicing, tax and refunds; PayPal for refunds or records relating to earlier direct purchases; Patreon where Patreon membership is used for software access; website hosting, infrastructure and security providers; email or newsletter service providers where applicable; professional advisers where reasonably necessary; public authorities where disclosure is required by law. Where GDPR requires safeguards for an international transfer, we use or rely on an applicable lawful transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards. 10. How Long We Keep Personal Data We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it is processed or for as long as required by law. Permanent license and entitlement records: retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and verify the license and to protect the User’s entitlement. Trial and registration history: retained for as long as reasonably necessary to apply product trial and licensing rules and prevent repeated or abusive trial activation. Account information: retained while the account is active and thereafter only where needed for licenses, legal obligations, security or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Support correspondence: retained for as long as reasonably needed to resolve the matter and, where necessary, document support history or legal claims. Newsletter data: retained until you unsubscribe or otherwise withdraw the relevant consent, subject to limited suppression records that may be kept to ensure that an unsubscribe request is respected. 11. These rights do not always require us to delete information.
